Lakeview Manor residents enjoyed hands-on activities with the West Baton Rouge Museum traveling program. Learning about past 1880s plantation life was exciting. The residents reminisced about washing on a wash board & ironing clothes, making butter with a churn, grinding fresh coffee beans and using cooking utensils and other items needed for daily chores. Taste testing the butter and telling stories was their favorite.
